Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
1 cup canola oil
4 large eggs
1 can pumpkin puree
2/3 cup cold water

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350˚F. Grease 3 medium sized loaf pans.
Sift the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, and nutmeg together in a medium sized bowl.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, light brown sugar, and oil. Mix thoroughly with an electric mixer. Add the eggs and mix until well blended. Add the can of pumpkin. Then, add the cold water, alternating with the flour mixture.
Place this mixture evenly between the 3 loaf pans and bake for about 50 minutes.

  2. This is yummy for the fall season. I would eat this with a good spread of margarine. Yum!

  3. pumpkin bread! i haven't had any yet...i usually wait for my grandmother to whip some up, but this looks awesome!
