Tortilla Pizzas

These tortilla pizzas are for the nights when you don't know what to do for dinner, and you don't seem to have the ingredients for any other recipe.

These tortillas don't call for very many ingredients, and are easy to quickly throw together at the last minute. I like to make 2 at a time, or 3 if I'm baking them on a larger baking sheet.

You first start off with an empty tortilla and put pizza sauce all around the surface.

This pizza sauce is good, or you could make your own. Either or!

Then, tear up a stick of mozzarella and place evenly around the tortilla on top of the pizza sauce.

Then, add your herbs, spices, and Parmesan.

Place in the oven for a little bit, and you have a perfectly browned tortilla pizza.

Dinner, tonight!

Tortilla Pizzas
adapted from Shutterbean
per 1 tortilla pizza:

1 medium tortilla
2 small spoonfuls of pizza sauce
1 mozzarella stick
sprinkle of dried oregano
sprinkle of Italian seasoning
sprinkle of dried basil
sprinkle of red pepper flakes
grated Parmesan

Preheat oven to 400˚F.
Place tortilla on an ungreased baking sheet. Spoon and evenly spread the pizza sauce around the tortilla. Tear the stick of mozzarella with your hands and evenly place on top of the pizza sauce. Sprinkle with the oregano, Italian seasoning, dried basil, red pepper flakes, and grated Parmesan.
Bake about 12 minutes (I cook 2 at a time on 1 baking sheet), or until cheese is melted and tortilla is crisp.
Slice and serve immediately.
